The second – with a lot of red – was made by starting every odd row with the same colour change.
The third is made with the cut threads of the second one.
The purple Emma in the last image was also made with the ‘Same Starting Point’; the sequence of the colour change was much shorter, so the pink came back on the larger section.
De eerste Emma van de drie is gemaakt met het garen ‘zoals het kwam’.
De tweede – met veel rood – is gemaakt door elke oneven rij te beginnen met dezelfde kleurwisseling uit de bol.
De derde is gemaakt met de afgeknipte draden van de tweede.
De paarse Emma op de laatste afbeelding is ook gemaakt met telkens hetzelfde startpunt (Same Starting Point); de kleurwisselingen kwamen sneller, waardoor het roze gedeelte opnieuw te zien is in het bredere gedeelte.
La deuxième – avec beaucoup de rouge – a été faite en commençant chaque rang impair par le même changement de couleur.
La troisième est réalisée avec les fils coupés de la deuxième.
L’Emma violette sur la dernière image a également été faite avec le même point de départ (Same Starting Point); la séquence du changement de couleur était beaucoup plus courte, donc le rose est revenu sur la partie plus grande.
The images below show the process of making the two SSP versions. The first one I started every odd row with the colour change orange / brown. The second one with the cut-off pieces, with the brown / blue colour change as starting point.
De onderstaande afbeeldingen tonen het proces van het maken van de twee SSP-versies. Bij de eerste begon ik elke oneven rij met de kleurwisseling oranje/bruin. De tweede is gemaakt met de afgeknipte stukken, waarbij de kleurwisseling bruin/blauw het startpunt was.
